Stand and Deliver is an academy for excellence in the skills of Speech and Drama. We look at all aspects of the Industry including Television acting and presenting, acting for film and acting for theatre. Students on our recent holiday programme created their own unique 30 minute film!

All students are taught by professionals who work in the industry. Communication is key to our teaching method with skills in speech, auditory and non-verbal communication being examined, honed and perfected. Communication between fellow actors and our audience is also crucial in achieving excellence as we believe that all great work comes from truth and we, therefore, strive for honesty in our students’ work.

Our students' attitude to their craft and the industry is also vital to their achievement, and we take time to work on and perfect knowledge and professionalism in their chosen field.

Our distinct approach to Drama encourages students to develop their own unique voice, with all classes taught by fully trained teachers, actors and directors. Recent students’ credits include leading roles in ‘Larkrise to Candleford’, ‘Skins’, ‘Casualty’, ‘Mistresses’ and ‘Billy Elliot’.
